And the answer, I’ve found, is that it’s all about upgrading and optimizing your lifestyle, so you have the energy, health, and performance capacity to crush it, without the crush of excess stress and fatigue and produce the results you want.
I don’t mean the kind of results you get from an extra hour of sleep here and there, simply “eating less and exercising more.” All good, but that’s what the other 99% attempt to deal with the symptoms (tiredness and weight gain) of a lifestyle gone awry. A lifestyle that’s overwhelming and driving them a little bit crazy, meanwhile, the underlying problems go unresolved.
I’m talking about the results you experience when you take The 5 Core Essentials of Human Performance© from theory, to practice and mastery, to support you, and the achievement of your goals; your health, AND success.

In today’s day and age, we’re all faced with relentless demand on our time and energy to perform at higher levels, as entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, and working parents. It’s likely because of the rise of technology, (increased speed) a growing population (competition), and the influences of the (economy.)
That you are reading this, is because as an entrepreneur I experienced the same, and the crush of excess stress and the mounting fatigue that results, until I learned how to live the high-performance lifestyle.
I know what it feels like to struggle with an ambition that outpaces your capacity to keep up. From early on, I suffered from low-grade, intensifying fatigue that seemed to cloud my life, even when things were going well!
I was crushing it but was also getting crushed by a mounting energy debt and it compounded over time. Essential areas of my life seemed to be on permanent hold as my own energy needs weren’t getting met. And that took its toll on my life experience and relationships, my health, performance, and well-being.
On the outside, I kept the game face on, but on the inside things were not as they seemed, and I needed to do something about it. I grew to know the answer was not one thing, but rather a new approach to how I achieved my goals for the kind of success I wanted.
Let’s Face It…
Life today is intense and most people are crumbling under the pressure…
Have you ever wondered WHY, even though you’re currently on a fitness program and currently eating “healthy” foods, maybe even getting that “extra hour” of sleep here and there, you’re still run down, tired, frustrated, and all-out exhausted beyond belief at the end of the day, likely even during the day?
Ever sat down and really thought about all the things you’re doing for your health, that are supposed to give you more energy, make you more productive, and enjoy every second life has to offer? And chances are, you’ve been worn down, even during some of your strongest hours… only to have to pick yourself up over, and over again to keep going.
You’ve always made a strong comeback, nearly every single time because you’re persevering… even if you haven’t achieved some of the goals you think about…

You’ll do whatever it takes. And you’re proud of it, as you should be…
But here's the bad news... .
Even though you make a strong comeback, each time you’re worn down, you become increasingly tired with each successive round. Tiredness becomes distressed, and distress transforms into burnout, and you fall into the never-ending cycle of picking yourself up to give it another go – time after time again.”
…and “most people” descend into this downward trend or “spiral” because of one or more of the following reasons:
1. They were confused about what actually gives them energy and what takes it away. There is so much information promising the sun, the moon, and the stars when it comes to increasing energy – and most of it is just plain delusional – keeping them more “caught up” and exhausted, forcing the never-ending downward cycle to repeat itself all because they never learned what actually creates more energy and how to sustain it.
2. They believed the marketing (spin). The fact is that we are living in a “Gotta Have It Yesterday” world that moves fast, and marketing is playing into the desperation this causes for all its worth, promising energy, weight loss, and success results that just can’t be achieved “sanely” in the time frame promised.
The big guys in the self-help industries play on this desperate emotion with their commercials, their ads, and their propaganda promising results literally overnight — when the raw truth is that most of what they promise is impossible to achieve within the time frame, they claim. Even if it was possible, trying too to accomplish too much too fast will sidetrack your life and take your eye off your primary aims in life.
3. They were frustrated with the lack of desired results. Because they didn’t solve the real problem then they end up exactly or not far from, where they started, frustrated and confused…searching for the next hack, the next book, the next program that promises to give them what they want – to feel good, to look even better, to be a complete, and utter success – and again it just doesn’t pay off.
It’s great for the company that created the products and programs, but crappy for the person searching for help.
The Whatever Whenever If Ever Lifestyle
So, it’s not surprising that people fail to get the desired results they’re expecting. Caught up in operation “money suck,” trying to figure it out, they end up throwing in the towel and living the “whatever, whenever, if-ever lifestyle” until the next magic s0-called “solution” arrives. Each time a little more jaded, almost unwilling to put their faith in another attempt.
And if you think I’m describing the “unmotivated,” you’re in for a surprise. In many cases, it’s the strivers, and high achievers who are the most overwhelmed, exhausted, and overweight… burning out and trading their health for success.
