We’ve heard a lot about how to “unleash your full potential” over the years. But, what does that mean, and why is this so important in 2021?
I have heard the term “unleash your full potential” for approximately 30 + years. It’s always referred to advanced personal development and a peak performance mindset, not entirely divorced from energy and physiology, but indeed separated, with some noted exceptions like the Johnson’s and Johnson’s Human Performance Institute.
Many organizations that focus on unleashing your full potential also concentrate on making sure your biology is working for you, but few, if any, address the lifestyle that drives high performance and sustainability.
Further, few approaches that I know of actually help you unleash yourself from the underpinning problems that prevent you from living your full potential.
In other words, unleashing precedes living.
But again, what does it mean to “unleash”? Logically it means to “take the leash off. “
A leash holds you back. We’ve all used leashes with our dogs, even our kids, in some instances, so when it’s removed, you are bonafide “unleashed.”

And that, my friends, is the secret sauce, it’s unleashing from all the real distractions that hold you back from living your full potential, and when you do, you will find yourself legitimately feeling free, like you haven’t for a long time!
These distractions are what we call hidden lifestyle challenges, and most people have 12 or more of them in play in their life, more like 24-36 of them.
But there is one that almost everyone has in play, and to me, it’s the very essence of what it means to unleash your full potential. It’s not getting free of limiting beliefs or poor eating, for example; no, it’s not even getting free of fatigue.
It’s awakening and engaging in enlightened human performance, no longer going through life as a thinking thing or walking psychology and living primarily from your spiritual intelligence.
Which, is to say, from source energy that goes by countless other terms depending on the paradigm that’s in play when and where you learn it.
When you “unleash” from being your brain to being what you are, you will genuinely be able to live your full potential; because you will actually be living your full potential.
And to live your full potential, meaning you are living, primarily identified with that which is giving you life, in the right relationship with your body/brain, now it becomes imperative that you know how to manage your energy.
You also need to go beyond biology alone; you need to manage your energy like a pro, in a balanced and healthy high-performance lifestyle.
A “Performance Lifestyle” or “High-Performance Lifestyle” does not imply in any way that this is a frenetic way of life. Quite the contrary; it’s a graceful way of life when you are well into the lifestyle mindset and skillset.
